WHAT IS A UTILITY BILL AUDIT?

A utility bill audit is the review of an organization’s utility and service invoices to identify billing errors, refund opportunities and cost reduction potential for future savings. This is separate from a physical audit, which seeks to minimize spending through an investment in improved efficiency.

The Industry Partner Program is not an entry-level sales opportunity. In fact, this is not a sales opportunity at all. It is a chance to help established contacts receive funds that are unknowingly due to them. In turn, our Industry Partners earn great compensation and often increased revenue by selling additional products and services to their contacts using the recovered costs. There is no better potential customer for you than one who just got a nice refund—because of you.

If you can answer “yes” to two or more of the questions below then this is a great opportunity for you to increase your overall earnings:

  • Letter of Authorization & Agreement

If interested in becoming a partner, please complete our application form on our Partner Portal. Once complete, we will schedule a 15-20 minute introductory call at a time of your convenience. During our call we will learn about you and determine if we are a good fit for your business. After the call, if you are satisfied with our services, and we determine that we can benefit your business, we will issue our Industry Partner Agreement and set up a time for initial sales training.

Your role is simple:

  1. Clearly introduce Util Auditors and our utility bill auditing services to your existing clients and prospects.
  2. Obtain one (1) recent invoice for any of Util Auditors’ Utility Bill Audits.
  3. Obtain an Authorization Form and Cost Reduction and Recovery Agreement from your client.
WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING IS PROVIDED?

WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING IS PROVIDED?

Sales training, or as we call it, Utility Bill Auditing 101 is provided once we receive a signed copy of your agreement. This course introduces our company and services so you can deliver a perfect presentation to your clients. No intense auditing training or experience is required. Once complete, we don’t disappear. Util Auditors provides on-going sales support to close auditing opportunities, access to utility bill auditing experts, live and on-demand webinars, and weekly conference calls.

DOES MY CLIENT HAVE TO PAY?

No up-front cost or investment is required from your client. Util Auditors is only compensated after confirmation of your client’s savings and refund are received.

Industry Partners receive between 10-20% of the net revenue received by Util Auditors. Percentage dependent upon level of partner involvement and relative experience.
